Peter Larson Training Kobudo

Sensei Peter

Peter has 40 years of dedicated martial arts training, beginning his journey in Shito-ryu Karate at the age of 12. He hasn’t stopped since and today, he holds senior grades in multiple Karate styles, Ryu Kyu Kobudo, and Kickboxing, offering our students a perspective that is as practical as it is traditional.

He teaches and trains regularly in all the dojos so getting to meet him is a certainty.

Sensei Jessica

Jessica began training in Karate at the age of six and has never looked back since. For her, the dojo has always been more than a place to train; it is where she has developed the discipline, respect, and determination that define her today.

From the age of twelve she began competing in tournaments, where she has achieved six national medals; including one national championship title and two runner-up finishes. She has also competed at a world championship, where she placed eighth. After achieving her Shodan Ho (Black Belt) at thirteen, Jessica has continued her journey and is currently teaching and training in Muken Kai and Shimbukan.

Jessica is one of the Senseis at Bushi No Te Kai and she loves every minute of it. For her teaching and coaching are incredibly rewarding and one of her greatest joys is watching the children grow in confidence and develop the same skills she learned at their age.

Karate has always been more than just a passion for her, it’s been a safe place and an escape from the busyness of life and a space where she can challenge both her mental and physical abilities.
